My Nintendo cant sync with other controllers

Please help, I recently got my Nintendo back in 2017 but it doesn't sync with other controllers. My left Joycon doesn't even try to sync with the Nintendo and my right Joycon does try and connect but still cant connect, I tried other controllers but those didn't work. So please help!
