NES Connecting the Retro Duo to a TV

Ok, so a few weeks ago I posted a question about connecting an NES or an SNES to an HDTV. I was told it would work, so I went for it.
And then I got this:

Last night I tried to connect it to my hdtv, which has this connection:

the retro duo has this connection:

And I got 2 sets of wires:

Is there any connection that would make the retro duo connect

Your TV has a component connection (5 cables), while the Duo has a composite connection (3 cables). Many HDTVs do have a composite connection, although you might need an additional adapter (like with my Samsung). What's your TV model?
