Paraglider not lifting in Breath of the Wild

Hey folks, thanks in advance for your patience, new gamer here. In Breath of the Wild, I got the paraglider and was able to get to Hyrule, but now in any shrine that requires the paraglider, it opens up and glides, but never with sufficient lift to get to the required platform... what am I missing?

hmm, BOTW shrines, imo, were pretty challenging. Without knowing which shrines ill advise maybe explore other options in the shrine. Maybe there is something you're not seeing that you need to reach or use? Try looking around more, and worst come to worst, google a walkthrough for the shrine. i needed help with quite a few. Good luck!
