3DS Data

I lost one of my 3DS games. If I were to get another one for my 3DSXL would I have to restart the game or would my data be saved onto the SD card? I can't currently find Mario Kart 7 or Luigi's Ghost Mansion, which are both lengthy games.

Hello and welcome to Nintendo Forums, Rholt810! To answer your question, I've never been much of a 3DS person, but I think you will have to start a new game, whether if you have the data of the old game on an SD Card or not, sorry. But I might be wrong on this, so please don't get upset if I am.

I actually found them! Phew. I would have been so mad if I had to restart Dark Moon.
