Dark Souls II on Wii U

Does anyone think that Dark Souls II would be a great game for the Wii U? I really enjoyed the first game on the PS3 but I think the sequel could benefit from the use of the GamePad; it would make item and weapon selection much easier especially for a Dark Souls game because it doesn't pause. Then you wouldn't have to worry about scrolling through items or bringing up another screen to make a selection. I think it would be a better way to play the game but too bad it's very unlikely it will be made for the Wii U...
