question for mario kart 7

so i have a question, will nintendo ever release a update that gives us more characters and tracks? with mario kart 8 coming up, mario kart 7 still stands as the most recent game with the least amount of tracks and characters.

It's doubtful. Your best chance to get it is to ask nintendo directly. If enough people want new stuff, they will add new stuff. But, as i said, it's doubtful

It is unlikely that an update will come with more characters, that just isn't really nintendos thing. Just wait for Mario kart 8 for new features.
