As the title says.

My wife and I have a few computers, but there's 2 we use for gaming: my desktop and her laptop.
My desktop goes more or less like this:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
8GB RAM DDR3
1TB HDD@5400 RPM + 1.5TB HDD @7200 RPM
ATI Radeon HD 6570 (1GB dedicated)


And my wife's laptop:

Intel Core i7 4th gen
8GB RAM
750GB HDD @7200 RPm + 120GB SSD
Can't remember the video card, but it's 2GB dedicated.

Pretty much your Wife's Laptop. Minus 1-gb dedicated, it still does the job with 12 gigs of ram in it. I think it's also a 4th gen i7, running at 2.1-2.3. Only a 350 HDD though, I need to find an external for cheap or pawn some of my belongings off for extra storage. Damn TV shows take too much space LOL. Picked it up for 375 off ebay. Only problem is they shipped it with a dead battery so I have to keep it plugged in (like 10 minute life span if I'm lucky) but man, 375 was a steal.

Google'd other relative systems and saw them going for 600-800+

Pffft, talk about a steal indeed!
My wife's computer at the time was the equivalent to $2,300 USD (2013). Computers are very expensive down here.
My desktop was about $1,300 USD in Las Vegas, but that was back in 2011.
