I recently just found my Nintendo 64 after many, many months of no contact. My brother and I plugged it in and we tried to play it, but none of the games that were with it are working. There's quite a bit of dust (in the console and in the games cartridges), and we tried to clean it all out with a cotton swab, but it still didn't work.

What's the best way to clean a Nintendo 64 console to ensure that it works again? Did my brother and I just lose our Nintendo 64 for good?

You could either use a small vacuum or a blower to get those hard to get to places. Most electronic guys use those to get into little crevices.

A small vacuum or blower sound really intense, but I'll research some more and give those two a try. I mean, I want to make sure that I'm not harming the console. I doubt that there are many out there that are being sold unless for unfortunate reasons. People love to hold on to their consoles-- especially my family. Thanks for the help!
