Who are your favorite video game developers?

So what are your favorite video game developers of all time. Say, what's your "Top 10" ranking of developers. Doesn't matter if the company exists anymore or not. For me, Nintendo is clearly number 1. Higher than all of the rest of the developers combined. However, creating the rest of my Top 10 is going to be a little tougher. I'd have to think back on all of the games that they have made that I have enjoyed in the past, and go from there. In the meantime, I'll list some developers to help stir your memory as well.

I'm still working on my list. I'm debating whether to do my "Top Ten" right now... or, my "Top Ten" of all time. As my opinion on some companies have changed over the years. However, classic games are still classic games. So, we'll see. But I'll get back to this. Still working on it.

I will be including past and present developers as some companies are no longer around but still created some of my favorite games. Like other commentators on here, Nintendo is a firm favorite. Other fave developers are as follows: Treasure, Toaplan, Raizing / Eighteen, Compile, Cave, Taito, Sega, Konami, Capcom, Sunsoft, Atlus, Data East, Wolf Team, Namco Bandai, CyberConnect2, Square Enix, Quest, Red, Irem, Tecmo Koei, Game Arts, Gainax, Team 17, Core, Studio Liverpool / Psygnosis, Sierra On-Line, LucasArts, Ocean and Hewson Consultants. Those are at the top of my head, chances are that I may have left out a few developers.
