Wii U Camera

I really like the Wii U camera. I have heard that the Xbox One Camera spys on you 24/7. Some people say that is not true, but others say that the TOS does seem to indicate that they have the right to use the camera like that. I know for a fact that Ninendo does not resort to such silliness. How do you feel about the Wii U camera, quality and all.
