How come my main email was banned from this site? I don’t think I was on this site before.

Hotmail is currently banned from registration because a lot of spambots use it. I can update your email address from the backend if you prefer to use it.

Is THAT why my outlook.com is banned?
When I first registered here a few days ago, I was using the outlook.com address, and I was told that the Administrator banned my email address.
I was shocked, and that is a huge understatement.
I used my gmail account for registration eventually.
