SNES Best SNES/NES Combo Console?

I need to replace one for a friend & I have little experience with owning one personally. I prefer to use the OG consoles. I've played on many & have heard the tales of some not being compatible with certain games or the audio/video 16 bit is garbage. So on & so forth.

I'm looking for insight from you guys: Any positive reviews on models you own or is there one that is far superior than the rest? Pros & cons also helpful.
