Final Fantasy 7 seems to be the start of the bad Final Fantasy games. You play as Cloud, a crossdressing stereotypical hero. While this may sound fun to 1% of you, then we get to the story. Aerith gets killed. Yeah. The storyline makes no sense, unless you have a warped mind or read a Wikipedia article 3 times. I played through this whole game without a shred of emotion. In the middle of the game, the characters have seizures and you see a million of the same character, big and small, scattered around. Then at the end, Aerith becomes a part of the Earth. What on Earth? I don't care if it mimics real world religion, it's a horrible game. What happened to the stellar Final Fantasy VI?
The gameplay is not even good. It consists of going 5 miles out of your way and fighting 12 random battles to get a potion. Repeat 5 million times. Give me Final Fantasy X, which had good gameplay but bad everything else, over this. At least it was sad in a funny way, and not just sad. I just... I just...
