Wii U Game Pad Cord Problem

Ok, so good news and bad news:

Good news is: My aunt finally got an amiibo! She's been wanting to get the Link one for so long and finally gotten around to buying it. Even better news, she also got a Wii U Pro Controller, so I'll have an easier time of playing Hyrule Warriors with her.

Bad news: As soon as she went to go try it, her game pad's power cord died. It will not charge up the game pad at all. So, she tried to buy a new one at Target, but apparently, they don't sell the ones for the Game Pad.

Does she have to go to Nintendo to buy it? Please give a speedy response.

Or you could try Gamestop - if they don't have Nintendo ones, they may do their own brand.
