It's come to my attention that GameStop has entered the retro gaming market. That makes sense as this is a market that has been enjoying a boom lately. However, not everything is a bed of roses. Some customer's have had a bad experience.
One particular customer ordered a Sega Genesis from them that was supposed to be refurbished. When he took delivery of the system he discovered a broken pin on the controller port. Furthermore, he couldn't attach his Sega CD device to the Genesis because GameStop stuck a warranty seal by the expansion slot. If he removed the expansion cover he would have effectively voided the warranty. A pretty dumb move on GameStop's part.
Has anyone here bought any retro goods from GameStop?
