Game Boy Advance GBA Developer Carts found, Need Help With Them

Okay so I found some of these things, after some research figured out they are developer carts. What I don't understand is how to use the 3 switches on the top of the carts. Can anyone help me with how to use the switches. Here is a sample of one of the carts. They seem to be all blank but want to be sure that the switches are set right just in case there is something worth while on one of them. I am kinda uninformed when it comes to GBA stuff but so much stuff is coming out all the time for retro stuff it is hard to keep up.
