Are there Nintendo fanboys on Google's development team in charge of Chrome? It sure seems so! François Beaufort (via Google+) has spotted a funny list of codenames for future Chrome devices, and guess what they are? Falco, Peppy, Slippy, and Fox!
The names are used for development versions of Google products that will be eventually released on x86 platforms. For example, the Fox and Slippy names are used for Chrome products to be released on Intel's upcoming Haswell processors.
It's always nice to see a nod to our favorite games in cool products, such as Chrome!
