Lately there has been a trend whereby folks modify their retro consoles. The NES is no exception as it's a much loved and popular old school system. Some typical modifications are the addition of RGB and/or S-Video outputs in order to get a cleaner and sharper image. Other types of modifications are simply cosmetic, typically changing the color scheme of the console in order to make it look more attractive.
