Yeah, hi, I am Jack, I just joined nintendo forums. like I said, sorry for forgetting my introduction, but it is nice to meet you all here. Well, most of my introduction to the future nintendo franchise is in the fan fiction section, so check it out here if you like to see what Arcadia is all about. To recall, it is a hybrid of a platformer and beat-em-up game, which I will make it really fast paced and not repetetive since I will a variety of monsters in each level, which you can also capture their souls like in pokemon, which increases your stats and adds new skills to your attack roster.
If you are confused about souls, I mean that whenever you defeat a certain amount of that monster, you enter a bonus stage which allows you to get a monster soul. During a level, you use the soul by bonding it together with your own and you get the attributes of that monster's soul, like jumping higher or running faster. Also, the monster souls can add attacks that are necessary to get past certain obstacles in the levels, like needing an Infearnal (A fire based monster) Soul to obtain the fire breathing ability to melt ice blocks.
