Hello!
Today my wifi got installed at a new flat I’ve just moved into. It’s actually the central wifi provided by the building, but it had to be extended. I booted up my switch to play some games with friends, and encountered this problem:
I am connected to the internet, and “testing connection” all works perfectly smoothly. However, anything in the console which requires internet - games, software updates, Nintendo online friend notifications, etc - all don’t work.
So far, I have tried:
• resetting the console
• turning airplane mode on and off
• resetting the games themselves
• attempting to update the switch (it’s UTD)
• leaving it and coming back
But nothing has worked. I can’t reset the wifi because it’s the central building wifi, but the connection is definitely strong enough and working because all my other devices are not only connected, but have super fast and functional wifi too!
I’m started to get concerned and also really just want to play. Any advice?
