Is uploading Pokemon Let's Plays to YouTube get you more views from the Pokemon Go hype a good idea?
I just started doing some GBA Let's Plays for Pokemon Fire Red Version for my YouTube channel. Will this help get more views, since Pokemon Go is getting huge?

I'm just trying to get more people to notice my channel. And I have been getting some Subscribers here and there. I got 3 subs in 1 week.

I'm not sure Pokemon Go will help though. I mean, Pokemon Go now is a huge thing but I don't think new people getting into it are really interested in the Pokemon franchise? I feel it's more a "it's-new-gotta-try" thing. A lot of my friends play and they weren't really aware Pokemon still had games for the DS lol
But I wouldn't give up! There are still a lot of fans and I occasionally even watch those (nostalgic times )
I would keep doing them and advertise as usual! Maybe you're right and Pokemon Go will boost your views and channel! Good luck!

Pokemon Go is dead due to the update. Niantic is piss poor at managing their best selling game.
