Switch Minecraft - Can’t play local multiplayer ?

Me and another person have been playing Minecraft with local multiplayer (wireless not split screen) but now something happened and I can’t join his world? We both have the same Minecraft version. He can join my world but I can’t join his?

We ended up trying a different game and it worked, seems like other games still work. I think it’s just Minecraft

Maybe it's a bug in the game, try to update minecraft it or update the switch. Restarting the switch may also help.
