My reaction to Nintendo having a portable console

Why nintendo? Why would you make your console fucking handheld?! That doesn't make any sense!

Well, official reports are yet to be announced, but if this were true, then gamers will still not take it seriously as a core console

As a gamer for 30 years I will take it more seriously then Sony or MS. This is fantastic. Others have tried like Turboexpress and SEGA Nomad but they were crazy expensive and 30 min battery life. Dreamcast wanted to do this with the VMU's and connecting to Neo Geo Pocket Color but the tech was not there yet to have a console experience on the go. You also must consider how much support Nintendo handhelds get form 3rd parties and they always sell. So this seems like a no brainier.
