New features!

This thread is for highlighting the new features that came with our forum upgrade. We'll do them one at a time.

First up, you can now tag people in your posts by using the @ sign. Just type the first few letters, and the rest will pop up. The person tagged will get a notification, just like on Facebook.

umm, and you guys are more than welcome to laugh at me, but I'm not into Facebook, so can y'all pull me to the side quietly and catch me up? sounds awesome i just don't truly understand what getting tagged entails.

Haha there's no "it" in tagging. You tag someone, and they get a notification that you mentioned them in a topic, and they can click through to see what's up.

I like the tag option. I post on a writing page where you can tag users and it sends a notification. Excellent new feature! We may not have to even use the quoting now.
