GameCube Pokemon XD and Colosseum

Was anyone surprised when a brand new Pokemon game manage to get turned into a game that we could play on our T.Vs? What I mean by this is an actual Pokemon game that has a story and everything! I was expecting this game to actually be exactly like Pokemon Stadium but just with more Pokemon to select.

It was kind of a dissapointment, it was extremely linear, and you could only get certain Pokemon, I was expecting a lot more from the game. Although I loved battling with Pokemon in 3D, it really was an awesome experience for me!

To be honest I really liked pokemon Colosseum but that is mainly because it is in 3D and because it is in kanto-timeline.
I never played pokemon XD.
I actually really liked to only get certain type of pokemons because it was more challanging and intresting haha.
