My careful and nonstop research as a developer suggests PS3 quality third party games @ 1080p when docked, on the Switch. At first I thought they would be better, but the logic I was using turned out to be wrong. I also thought they would be worse than that at one point, but I don't think so either. I don't have a Switch dev kit but I have been working tirelessly on the Shield TV and using programs like Unity as well as developer programs.
This is not a fact, I could still be wrong... more a scientific theory. One that I will get heat for, especially on a big forum, but it's a much better guess than listening to Emily Rogers.
And before you say "Switch isn't going to be the same in every way as Shield TV"... I have factored in differences.
