Prime Trilogy on wii U

so i got a message from my gamepad saying the Trilogy is on sale in the VC for wii u. I've never played them, I'm sure i want them (i like Metroid), so to those who have played them, what is the pros and cons? i loved Super Metroid and Other M, so will I like these?

ok, fast forward 2 and half years: I finally played Prime. I hate to complain but wow, i suck at fps. I got very frustrated with the jumping and spinning around. But i got frustrated because, really, i did like the game. It was a good story with creepy dreadful backgrounds and music. Like a good Metroid should have. Never say never, but i'll have to really be caught up or bored to play the other 2 games in the trilogy. Not because i don't like them, it just felt like a task for me.
