Switch problem playing links awakening, get ribbon on x key

i can't get the ciao ciao figure or the ribbon on the x key. i have the magic powder on the y key but how do i get the ribbon or ciao ciao figure on the x key. the magic powder is on a 4x3 display on the right. the ribbon is on leftmost column under the sword and ciao ciao figure is in the column under the two shells. this is on the items display. i think i need to put the ribbon on the 4x3 to get the x key to the give it to the dog lady but i am stuck. thanks.

is it possible to get a game replaced when you can't play it. this game was 59.95 and tears of the gangdom was the same. i should have gotten that gsame. now i casnt play links aweakening.
