What's the difference between a monitor with built in speakers and a tv nowadays?


Come to think about it... I'm hoping to build my own computer soon and I could probably use my 32" TV as a monitor. It's currently in storage but I can pull it out.

I have used a TV plenty with a computer so I am the one to ask. And here is my personal opinion. It's, don't stop yourself from using a TV because it's great, but do keep in mind that TVs can be poorer at displaying really fine details like small text than monitors.

This monitor is great. The picture quality is phenomenal for the price. It's just the right size too. The reviews that said the speakers are tinny are exaggerating slightly and expecting too much. I have experienced no ghosting with it at all during game. I'm happy.
