3DS Recover purchased 2DS games, can't remember account info

i had a 2ds and i made my nintendo account on it or whatever its called. and i ended up buying a bunch of games on the account and just had the digital copies
i sold the ds after and i got a new one now and i cant remember my account info besides an email. can someone help me recover my account or tell me how?

@jordan turner this is the best i could find. Give it a try and let us know. I've never had to do this, but I've heard over the years that Nintendo is very good for helping on this matter. Im sure every day peoples' Hard Drives fry and they lose all their games. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction
