Wii U Sharing VC games between Wii U and 3DS?

Hey all,
First post, go easy on me! So I bought Castlevania for my 3DS and I was on my Wii U and saw you can play it on your game pad. So I though "My account is linked to both systems, maybe I can share the game between the two systems." Turns out you can't.

Does anyone know if Nintendo plans on making it a possibility in the future? Seems kind of silly that linking your account between both systems only lets you share a wallet with no other discernible benefits.

They really should make them share-able between. It's kind of piggy of them.

no its very piggy. i want to be able to take Super Metroid and Earthbound with me. i think I've invested enough money...
