DS Super Mario 64 DS: possible to cheat in Jet Stream (Jolly Roger Bay)?

Alright, so you know how on the original Super mario 64 on the good ol nintendo 64 you can cheat your way through the jet stream and to the star by trying vey hard to swim to the star using a certain angle and a certain way of swimming? Well, is that possible on the DS version? Thanks

I'm not certain cause it really depends if you're lucky if you got the cart that makes it work. Back then before patching is the thing, DS carts were stuck with whatever glitches they had so newer carts would have those glitches removed.

But really, why be like that? Just get Wario and a Power Flower switch and do it the way its suppose to be done!
