Switch Switch Lite multiplayer

Can you link two or more switch lite games for multiplayer? Or do we have to link the joy cons to the switch lite to play in multiplayer?

If you mean local wireless play, then yes, you can link up to 8 systems for multiplayer, and you can mix original Switch and Switch Lite consoles.

I also think you have to have Nintendo Online subscription for a lot of multiplayer games.
