Wii U The gamepad would be good for Triforce heros chat, right?

Nintendo is very hesitant about voice or text chat, but the emoticon chat from Tri Force Heros works fairly well.

Do you think it would benefit some online multiplayer games that normally don't use the gamepad to use it for picking from a set of emoticon icons?

Hmm, why not? Since the Gamepad is only used as a duplicate screen most of the time anyway.
