The "what game should I get thread"

The point of this thread is to ask what game you should get if you have 2 or more games you are looking at buying, but can only get one. Or, you want to buy a game, but don't know of it is worth it.
I'll start, I'm looking at getting either The Last of Us, or Animal crossing and fire emblem. What are your opinions?

What game should I play (I've already bought both): Resident Evil 3 Nemesis or Code Veronica?

...Not that I need to be playing any more scary games right now.

Okay - The Last of Us for BanjoKazooie, and RE3 for Donkey. That said I wasn't much of a fan of either of those games. Um...
Okay - yeah I got nothing in terms of games right now, but I'm searching through some backlogs so I'll be back.
