I'm toying with the idea of making a whole game like this:
In level 3-2 of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, you are on a haunted ship and you must avoid ghosts, who stop when you become invincible. Kind of a PacMan like concept. However in my game, you control the character, a diver, directly and when you become invincible, you can kill the ghosts for a small period of time. That's not all there will be in my game. You will also have the ability to be above the water and shoot with a gun, and also, there will be segments of the game where you have to sneak past ghost guards, much like sneaking past the guards in Zelda.
I might also make the ghosts sea monsters.
What do you think?
I think my original idea of making a dungeon crawling RPG was too bland a concept.
