Me and my friend is planning to get the new Pokémon game. I'm buying Sun and he's buying Moon. And I was wondering if you can trade between the two?
And one more thing. Can you battle with your friends? Sorry

You can trade between the two. That is the whole point as to why there are always two (or three) different Pokemon games at one time.

And yes you can battle with friends.

I take it this is your first Pokemon game?
