3DS Upcoming Harvest Moon Games

I'll admit, I really enjoy virtual farming, especially the Harvest Moon series. I've heard that two new games related to the series are coming out soon. One is Story of Seasons, which was created by Marvelous: http://fogu.com/sos1/ and the other is Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, which was created by Natsume: http://fogu.com/hm12/ . Which one are you planning on buying? Or, do you plan to buy both?

I adore Harvest Moon and Rune Factory games and have been playing since the very first Harvest Moon on Super Nintendo!

Out of the two upcoming games, I'm most excited for Story of Seasons. I love the art style, the bachelors look fantastic, and overall I think Marvelous has done an amazing job bringing the series to English.

Lost Valley also looks interesting but the graphics seem a bit crude, especially considering the hardware in the 3DS. At first glance I thought Lost Valley was a DS game, not a 3DS game! The Minecraft-style building aspect seems really fun though, so I may end up trying it anyway.

One can never have too many Harvest Moon games!

I wholeheartedly agree with your statements! I want to play Story of Seasons, because it looks like an amazing addition to the next Harvest Moon series. Meanwhile, I don't really have an intention to play Lost Valley, but I might change my mind later on.
