Using a Game Boy Color with a Game Boy Pocket AC adapter

Just wanting to ask can you power a gameboy colour with a gameboy pocket power supply?

The Game Boy Pocket AC adapter (model MGB-005) is coded MGB/GBC, which means it's compatible with both Game Boy Pocket/Game Boy Light (MGB) and Game Boy Color (GBC).
