What is the cheapest level you have ever played?

It doesn't matter the station or the game or whatever - what is the absolute cheapest level you've ever had to deal with? I think the one I dislike most would be the Death Egg level in Sonic 2 because come on - two bosses, no rings, everything is trying to kill you, and no save function. Geez. What about ya'll?
