What Vintage Game Would You Like To See Remade?

Up until now I am still hoping for a proper Contra remake. Honestly I'm not really sure how it would or should play out, especially in 3D format, but if I had my way I'd keep it 2D just with new bells and whistles, while still keeping the same charm that it had back then. I think the original game still holds up until now, and I think a new version could easily re-spark the old flame and start a new franchise for the new generation of gamers. Sadly, I think the joy of Contra might never be shared with the young ones, and it will only be a sort of inside joke among us older gamers talking about the most popular cheat code ever conceived.

So what are your picks for games that you want to see remade?
 
You can all laugh at this if you want to. But one game I was very addicted to when I was a kid, and I'd love to see remade, is the Felix the Cat game for the NES. It was just so cool, with all of the different things Felix could turn his purse into, the difficulty really escalated as you beat each level.
