I am interested in downloading a Nintendo background on my computer, and can think of no better way to go about it then fan art. Can one of you guys point me in the right direction to find a good fan art site?

I used to get the official wallpapers from nintendo.com and nintendo.co.jp. Both used to release some digital goodies with pretty much every major game. Nintendo of Japan especially had some pretty cool stuff, including art work.
For fan-created backgrounds, deviantArt has a lot of amazing stuff. Lots of talented people on that site, but it takes some browsing to find the good ones.

Thank you for the info Crunch. deviantArt is a cool page, but I would personally keep children off it. As I recall, they have some nude photography, and erotic art.

I use deviantart too. It's a great source for various types of pictures and photos.
