DS Which DS is right for me?

So I've been itching to play super Mario 64. I owned a DS lite at the peak of it's hype. And that was the last hand held I bought. Being that was many years ago and several consoles have come out since. I want to get Mario 64 what would be the best DS to buy?

I know this is late reply but either buy a 3DS (easy to mod if you are interested) or buy a regular DS or DS Lite (if you want to play GBA games as well)
