I love the DOS era of PC gaming. While the operating system may not be user-friendly or powerful by today's standards. It did serve it's purpose and many excellent games were developed for the PC market before Windows was introduced.
The other day, I found an enjoyable racing game called World Rally Fever that I used to play a lot on my old Pentium. It's truly a well-made little racer that resembles Power Drift by Sega. Love the anime aesthetics which are of a high-quality by the Belgian studio that developed this title. It's worth tracking down as it's a really solid title.
