Zelda Twilight Princess and Wii U Gamepad

Can I play the game without playing it on the TV and instead play it on the Gamepad....if you can will someone please explain how to me please??

Most games can be played this way however some can't. I do not own Zelda Twilight Princess Wii U to know, but look for small arrows or icons on the Gamepad when the game starts up to see if you can.
